About Sakura Routes
Sakura Routes began with one driver, one van, and a simple belief: visitors see far more of Japan when someone local is looking after the logistics. Today we are a small team of English-speaking Tokyo drivers hosting private tours, Mt. Fuji day trips, and airport transfers for travelers from more than forty countries.
We stay deliberately small. Every booking is answered by a person, every itinerary is read by the driver who will host you, and every day is planned as if we were showing our own guests around the city we love.

How we work
Four things we never compromise on
Friendly, personalized sightseeing
You travel with one driver for the whole day, never a coach full of strangers. We learn what you enjoy over the first hour and shape the rest of the day around it.
Local knowledge
Our drivers live here. They know which gate at Senso-ji is quiet at 9am, where the good tonkatsu is, and when to skip a viewpoint because the cloud will not lift.
Flexible itineraries
Nothing is locked. Stay longer somewhere you love, cut something that does not appeal, or rewrite the afternoon entirely — the day is yours.
Comfortable private transportation
Immaculate air-conditioned vehicles with generous luggage space, bottled water, Wi-Fi, and child seats whenever you need them.
